Background: Although physiotherapy is frequently provided to patients in the ICU, its role has been questioned. The purpose of this systematic literature review, an update of one published in , was to examine the evidence concerning the effectiveness of physiotherapy for adult, intubated patients who are mechanically ventilated in the ICU. Only papers published from were included. No limitations were placed on study design, intervention type, or outcomes of clinical studies; nonsystematic reviews were excluded. Items were checked for relevance and data extracted from included studies.

Background: Foam Rolling FR is currently used by athletes at all levels. It is not known whether FR is more effective being used as a warm up to aid performance or more effectively used as a cool-down for recovery. Therefore, the purpose of this systematic review was to determine the effects of FR on performance and recovery. The database search was limited to journals published in English between January and June
