The following repositories are tailor-made for theses; other repositories keep theses as an integral part of their other holdings. Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation archive of scientific and research publications. This is especially true of European "Networks of Excellence". The following EPrint installations are examples of the use of a repository as a digital library for capturing not only research but also administrative and policy documents relating to institutions. EPrints users worldwide are configuring their repositories for many diverse requirements.
There are also examples of the thesis title and abstract pages. Some publishers may object to the thesis being so publicly available before they publish any articles or books based on research in the thesis while other publishers, for example Elsevier, have stated that they do not consider an e-thesis to be a prior-publication. However on balance we recommend that if you have not yet finished publishing from your thesis, the e-thesis is embargoed. It is possible to add bibliographic information about the articles and books published from a thesis to the ePrints record.
